Robert Ross

Robert Ross is the Chief Engineer and Future Capability lead for Reliance Test and Technology at the National Radar Cross Section Test Facility (NRTF) on White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. He and his team provide accurate and impartial RCS and antenna pattern measurements to defense and industry partners at the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) only outdoor RF ground-test facility.

Robert has 15 years of test and engineering experience, and his efforts have resulted in advancements to the state of technology of modern radar, adaptive waveforms, and signal processing. He is currently investigating expanding NRTF frequency capability, 5G interference mitigation, and automated detection and remediation of measurement contamination. Robert received a Master of Science in Physics from New Mexico State University in 2008.
