The RF Vendors Working Group (RFVWG) will host a Best Source Selector (BSS) Industry Day on Friday, October 30, from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Conference Center.
This targeted event brings together BSS equipment manufacturers, telemetry professionals, and government representatives for a hands-on evaluation and performance comparison of Best Source Selector systems under a common set of test conditions. Participating BSS systems will be exercised with DQE/DQM telemetry data across various operating conditions, giving attendees a unique opportunity to compare performance, discuss implementation strategies, and provide direct industry feedback.
Results and lessons learned from the session will help inform the development of IRIG 118 BSS test procedures while advancing overall interoperability across the telemetry community.
